Last updated: 2025
Lecis Design is the trading name of Alex Lecis, a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom. For the purposes of data protection law, Alex Lecis is the data controller responsible for your personal data. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact alexlecis@pm.me or +44 777 8673 892.
We may collect and process the following: your name, email address, telephone number, the details you submit through our contact form (including the type of enquiry and your message), and any photographs, measurements or briefs you share with us. If you book through ClassBento, they collect booking and payment details on our behalf.
We use your data to respond to enquiries, provide and manage our services, take bookings and payments, send you information about your sessions, and comply with our legal obligations. Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (delivering the service you booked), legitimate interests (running and improving our business), consent (where you opt in, for example to marketing), and legal obligation (for example tax records).
Our website uses only essential cookies necessary for the website to function. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and request your consent where required.
Bookings and payments are processed by our booking provider, ClassBento, and its payment processors. We do not store your full card details — these are handled securely by the payment provider. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business (for example our booking and payment provider, and, where relevant, furniture suppliers for your order), and only as necessary to deliver our services. We may also disclose data where required by law.
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection, for example through standard contractual clauses.
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, and to meet legal, accounting and reporting requirements. Booking and financial records are typically kept for up to six years. Enquiry messages that do not lead to a booking are deleted within a reasonable period.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, to request correction or erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact alexlecis@pm.me. You will not normally be charged, and we will respond within one month.
We will only send you marketing communications if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date of the last update shown.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
For any questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, contact Alex Lecis at alexlecis@pm.me or +44 777 8673 892.
